ABOUT THE ARTIST
Anna Khoroshavtseva (Anna Khora) — architect, designer, artist, public figure.
Was born and raised in Rusia. From early childhood, she was engaged in creativity, drawing, sculpting, creating an art object. After school, she entered the Faculty of Architecture, where she received a higher architectural education, which later became an integral stylistic feature in shaping her as an artist.
After graduation, Anna migrated to Spain (Barcelona) where she lives and works to this day. During her life, Anna tried herself not only in architecture, she has been working as a graphic designer, sculptor, landscape designer for more than 20 years, created several brands of clothes with author’s painting on fabric, participates and organizes dozens of artistic events, but invariably all this time she has been moving towards goal of becoming a professional artist.
To this moment, Anna participated in more than 20 exhibitions. Her paintings are in private collections around the world. And despite the fact that Anna Khora does not have a single pictorial style, her paintings cannot be confused with the paintings of other authors. There is always an idea, history, symbolism in her works. The influence of architectural education forms compositional dynamics in which one can trace the idea of the author, her feelings and attitude. Due to the special attitude to the ideological content of their works, many publishing houses buy out the rights to use images for books and magazines. Perhaps this is the main stylistic feature of the artist.
